Our mission is to grow the business by retaining existing clients, maximizing revenue potential and winning new business from both existing and new verticals. To achieve this, we deliver both B2B and B2C marketing – for our clients as well as for our own brand.THE JOBAs Marketing Lead covering parental leave, you take on functional and disciplinary leadership of our Brand, Event & B2B Marketing team for Germany and Austria, additionally supporting our Swiss team. You ensure strategic and operational continuity of ongoing initiatives while keeping the team aligned with our global guidelines.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGProvide functional and disciplinary leadership of the Brand, Event & B2B Marketing team for the GSA region during the parental leave cover periodTake ownership of the continued development and operational execution of the brand, event and B2B marketing strategy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland – within the global strategic and brand frameworkEnsure alignment of the local team's activities with global guidelines, in close coordination with the EMEA teamManage the intake and prioritization of incoming global campaigns, creative materials, and guidelines, and ensure their timely implementation by the teamOwn the marketing budget for the respective areaCoordinate closely with the Director Marketing GSA on strategic priorities and resource planningEnsure operational continuity of ongoing campaigns, events, and B2B initiativesProvide functional and personal leadership, development and coaching for team membersDriving brand awareness & brand preference in the GSA marketManage external agencies and partners at a strategic levelCollaborate cross-functionally with Content, Community, CRM and Performance Marketing and Sales colleagues as well as the local team in SwitzerlandReport to the Director Marketing GSA on team performance, campaign results, and budgetWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)Several years of leadership experience in marketing, ideally in brand, event, or B2B marketingProven experience in the disciplinary leadership of a teamStrong strategic capability combined with hands-on execution skillsExperience in budget and resource managementExperience working with global/international teams and corporate structures is a plusConfident stakeholder management across different levels of seniorityFluent German and very good English skillsExperience in entertainment, live events, or ticketing is a plusHigh degree of ownership, resilience, and the ability to quickly get up to speed within existing structures and ongoing projectsYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team, and to lead with a positive, constructive spiritExcellent communication skills, able to adapt to different levels of stakeholders, from team members to the Director Marketing GSA and cross-functional partnersConfident decision-maker, able to prioritize and keep initiatives moving even under time pressure or shifting circumstancesHighly adaptable, with the ability to quickly get up to speed within an existing team, ongoing projects, and established ways of workingStrong sense of ownership and accountability, comfortable stepping into a running operation and maintaining continuityResilient and calm under pressure, able to navigate a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCreative and commercially minded, balancing brand consistency with practical business needsCollaborative and diplomatic, able to build trust quickly with the team and stakeholdersLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
