As a DevOps Intern on the Infra Team, you will support the maintenance and development of LiveEO’s cloud infrastructure. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with cloud technologies, coding, and networking concepts. You’ll collaborate with senior team members to ensure the integrity, reliability, and scalability of our cloud resources while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Your challenge

• Assist in Infrastructure Development:

  • Support the team in developing and maintaining AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Participate in the implementation of solutions involving Kubernetes and other cutting-edge technologies.

• Support CI/CD Pipelines:

  • Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

• Technical Support:

  • Aid in debugging and resolving issues in development and production environments.

  • Analyze logs to understand and troubleshoot complex problems.

• Learning and Development:

  • Actively learn best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps methodologies.

  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings to enhance your technical skills.

Your profile

• Coding Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Python and Bash (Optional) scripting.

• Cloud Understanding:

  • Fundamental knowledge of cloud concepts, preferably AWS.

• Networking Knowledge:

  • Understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP.

• Version Control:

  • Experience with GitLab or other version control systems.

• Operating Systems:

  • Familiarity with Linux environments.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.

• Eligibility:

  • Preferably located in Berlin or within the EU

Nice-to-Have:

• Infrastructure as Code:

  • Familiarity with Terraform or similar tools.

• Containerization:

  • Basic knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.

• CI/CD Pipelines:

  • Understanding of how CI/CD pipelines function.

• Additional Skills:

  • Exposure to PostgreSQL databases.

  • Understanding of observability and logging tools.

• Education :

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
