We are applying the latest developments in artificial intelligence to analyse satellite data and bring insights of earth observation data to customers in the enterprise sector. Our goal is to monitor 1 billion assets across the globe with our SaaS solution by 2030. Our team is global, and we are building something big.

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll drive new business and grow our presence in German-speaking markets. You’ll identify, engage, and close high-value enterprise customers who need a scalable, data-driven solution to comply with EUDR requirements. This is a quota-carrying role with strategic impact—helping businesses take decisive steps toward compliant and sustainable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full sales cycle: from discovery to closing with a strong focus on value-based selling to compliance, ESG, procurement, and sustainability leaders.
  • Educate and consult: act as a trusted advisor on EUDR, helping customers understand regulatory implications and how the product supports scalable compliance.
  • Manage complex stakeholders: navigate mid- to enterprise-level buying groups, including C-level decision-makers.
  • Drive pipeline growth: leverage your network and outbound initiatives to generate new opportunities in the DACH region.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams: work with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a world-class experience.
  • Represent TradeAware at events: speak at webinars, attend trade expos, and contribute to thought leadership on EUDR and deforestation-free supply chains.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS or solution selling experience, ideally with exposure to ESG, compliance, logistics, or supply chain domains.
  • Proven success in closing complex deals with enterprise clients across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
  • Native-level German or Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling, value-based selling, and MEDDPICC.
  • Ability to translate complex technical products into compelling business value for senior stakeholders.
  • A passion for sustainability, supply chains, or regulatory tech is a plus.
  • Knowledge of EUDR, ESG reporting standards, deforestation regulations, or traceability frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience selling to verticals like food & beverage, retail, timber, agriculture, or commodities trading is a plus.
  • Background in remote-first, high-growth SaaS startups is a plus.
