Overview
In this role you will oversee cost management for retrofit and upgrade work on data centre facilities across Europe. You’ll join the European Data Centre team within a Tier-1 main contractor’s commercial function, coordinating with clients, main contractors and internal teams. You will manage contracts, variations, payments and risk analysis to drive commercial success. This position offers exposure to large-scale data centre projects and a structured, international work environment. You will contribute to delivering value through precise financial control and stakeholder collaboration.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Review contract scope and obligations
- Evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Draft and issue subcontract and supply chain agreements
- Track scope changes and price variations
- Prepare and negotiate monthly interim payments
- Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure compliance
- Issue contractual notices and assess loss/expense/acceleration claims
- Produce cost estimates and monthly commercial reports
- Provide risk data and commercial analysis to management
- Monitor cash flow across project lifecycle
- Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and internal teams
- Perform duties to support the commercial function
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in QS or commercial engineering on large-scale projects
- Broad understanding of subcontracting practices and contract administration
- Background in CSA and/or MEP disciplines desirable
- Strong numerical and financial interpretation skills
- Confident negotiator with clients and subcontractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP or other financial systems advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in commercial documentation
