Overview
In this role you will lead the commercial function on a flagship data centre project in Frankfurt, taking full responsibility for commercial performance from pre-construction to final account. You will work closely with the regional leadership and external consultants to maximise profitability and ensure compliant, timely reporting. The position sits on-site, offering high visibility and impact on a major international project. This is a senior opportunity to shape commercial strategy and team development within a growing, data-centre focused contractor.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Overall commercial leadership and governance of the project
- Developing and implementing commercial strategy to maximise profitability
- Cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Managing subcontract procurement strategy and commercial negotiations
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts oversight and approvals
- Change control, risk management, and contractual compliance
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the site commercial team
- Producing monthly commercial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Acting as key commercial interface with client and external consultants
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (MRICS or equivalent desirable)
- Extensive experience in a senior commercial role with a main contractor
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, technically complex projects (data centres, pharma, or M&E-led projects advantageous)
- Strong contractual knowledge (NEC, FIDIC, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Strong commercial acumen with risk and opportunity management
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international project environment
- Willingness to be based on site in Frankfurt (expat/relocation package typically provided)
