Value: Major Hyperscale Data Centre Development Our client is a leading international main contractor specialising in the delivery of hyperscale data centres and mission-critical infrastructure across Europe.
They are seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to join the project team delivering a major hyperscale data centre development in Düsseldorf.
Working alongside the Project Manager and wider CSA delivery team, you will take responsibility for coordinating and managing the Civil, Structural and Architectural packages throughout construction.
Ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and programme performance, you will play a key role in delivering one of Europe's most technically advanced mission-critical developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) construction activities on site.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure buildability and compliance.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with design consultants, client representatives and multidisciplinary project teams to resolve technical issues.
- Carry out site inspections and quality checks in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, NCRs and design changes throughout the construction process.
- Ensure all CSA works comply with project specifications, company procedures and client requirements.
- Support project planning by monitoring progress and identifying programme risks or delays.
- Maintain accurate site records, quality documentation and progress reports.
- Assist with testing, snagging, commissioning and final project handover.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety and quality across all site activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CSA Engineer, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer or Site Engineer delivering major construction projects.
- Experience working on hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- Strong understanding of Civil, Structural and Architectural construction methods and sequencing.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), RFIs and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously.
- Proactive approach with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
