Overview
In this role you lead electrical installation activities on a live data centre site, ensuring work meets design and mission-critical standards. You will coordinate electrical crews and subcontractors, maintain QA/QC, and enforce safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll support testing and commissioning while keeping detailed site records and reporting progress to leadership. This position offers exposure to large-scale, data-centre projects within a major contractor’s European operation, with a rotational package structure to reflect project demands.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Supervision of electrical installation works on a live data centre site, including containment, cabling, panel installation and distribution systems
- Lead and coordinate electrical crews and subcontractors, manage tasks, monitor workmanship, and align progress with programme and construction sequencing
- Technical oversight and QA/QC: review drawings, resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with German regulations and project requirements
- Health, Safety & compliance: enforce electrical safety practices, conduct toolbox talks, ensure safe systems of work and regulatory obligations
- Testing, commissioning & reporting: support FAT/SAT, assist with testing, maintain site records, provide progress updates to Electrical Manager and project leadership
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or large-scale construction projects
- EU Passport or RTW in Germany
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Effective team coordination and collaboration
- Problem-solving and on-site decision making
- Electrical installation, containment, cabling, panel installation, distribution systems
- QA/QC processes and drawings review
- Knowledge of German regulations for electrical works
