Overview

In this role you will develop, monitor, and report construction schedules for retrofit and upgrade projects in data centres across Europe. You will liaise between planning and delivery teams to ensure schedules align with SOPs, drive progress reporting, and manage risk and delays. You will contribute to tender-stage programmes and on-site planning activities, supporting decision-making with robust data. This position offers exposure to large-scale data centre programmes and a clear impact on project performance and delivery.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Plan and maintain detailed project schedules across pre-construction to commissioning
  • Interface between Planning and project teams and represent planning in meetings
  • Create progress-tracking systems, dashboards, and regular progress reports
  • Forecast milestones, assess floats and delays, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Track performance against schedule, identify variances, and propose corrective actions
  • Conduct site audits to validate reported progress and support data-driven decisions
  • Contribute to tender-stage programmes and pre-construction schedules
  • Load schedules with resource and cost data for forecasting and payments
  • Support short-term planning and weekly workface planning
  • Assist in contract reviews with planning data and insights
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of reports and schedules
  • Identify risks and disruptions, maintaining delay records and contributing to claim development
  • Lead or participate in planning meetings and workshops
  • Undertake additional planning duties to support project success

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Minimum 5 years planning experience on major construction projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Strong Excel skills
  • familiarity with Earned Value principles
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and methodologies
  • Ability to independently produce and manage programmes using drawings, models, and scope documents
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on large-scale projects
