Overview
In this role you lead mechanical installation efforts on a hyperscale data centre project in Zurich, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery and quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, liaise with other trades, and support commissioning to handover. You’ll work closely with the Mechanical Construction Manager and Mechanical Project Manager to keep milestones on track. The opportunity combines hands-on site leadership with cross‑functional collaboration on a high‑tech, international project.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Report to the Mechanical Construction Manager and Mechanical Project Manager
- Ensure subcontractors follow schedules and priorities to hit milestones
- Track progress, identify delays, and plan mitigations
- Coordinate with electrical/CSA trades for smooth workflows
- Lead site safety with HSE, RAMS, and SPAs compliance
- Oversee QA processes with QA Manager to meet specs
- Verify installed materials meet submittals
- Conduct snagging and close issues promptly
- Support commissioning to achieve handover targets
- Prepare daily site reports and review subcontractor reporting
- Ensure availability of materials, access, and resources for continuity
- Participate in daily planning and coordination meetings (EHS, QA)
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 3+ years in mechanical supervision or construction management
- Mechanical trade or engineering background
- Experience on data centre projects preferred but not essential
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors on large-scale projects
- Proficiency with MS Office and construction QA software
- Fluent in English with strong communication and leadership
- EU passport or right to work in Switzerland/Germany preferred
