Overview
In this role you lead electrical safety governance on a major Frankfurt data centre project, enforcing the ESSoW across high- and low-voltage systems. You act as the on-site safety interface, validating energisation plans, permits, and commissioning readiness. You will drive hazard control, LOTO,PTW and signage, while coordinating with project and commissioning teams. This is a high-impact position within a safety-focused, senior leadership context on a critical infrastructure programme.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee live and potentially live electrical systems under control
- Implement and audit Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Manage Electrical Safety Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Plan, draft, and approve HV/MV/LV switching schedules
- Enforce arc flash mitigation and PPE compliance
- Identify electrical hazards and implement corrective actions
- Serve as the primary electrical safety interface on the project
- Coordinate electrical safety communications, signage, and notices
- Provide system status updates to project and commissioning teams
- Attend site, planning, engineering and handover meetings
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Qualified Electrician (National Craft Certificate or Level 6+ equivalent)
- HV & LV Authorised Person certification within last 2 years
- 10–15 years’ experience on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong HV/MV/LV switching and energisation experience
- Data centre, DNO/IDNO, grid or power generation background
- Proven commissioning and testing experience
- Strong knowledge of German electrical regulations (VDE compliant)
- Leadership experience managing subcontractors and high-risk activities
