Overview
In this role you lead civil, groundworks and structural delivery on a major data centre project in Frankfurt. You report to Project/Construction leadership and oversee on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and on-programme performance. You’ll coordinate interfaces with MEP and commissioning teams while guiding construction activities through plans, drawings and RFIs. This senior position offers hands-on leadership on a flagship, technically complex project with clear impact on project success.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage civil, structural and groundworks packages on site
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to deliver safely, on programme and to spec
- Plan, sequence and coordinate works to optimise efficiency and mitigate risk
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards
- Review drawings, specifications and technical docs to guide construction activities
- Manage RFIs, site instructions and design clarifications
- Coordinate with MEP, CSA and commissioning teams to manage interfaces
- Report site progress, risks and issues to senior leadership
- Support inspections, testing and handover of civils and structural works
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Proven experience as Site Manager or Senior Site Engineer on large-scale civils/structural projects
- Strong experience delivering groundworks, foundations and structural packages (data centres, industrial, or high-spec commercial projects advantageous)
- Excellent leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site safety
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt (rotational or expat basis)
