Your Role
As a Risk Control & Oversight Officer, you will provide second-line oversight across the corporate lending lifecycle, strengthen controls and reporting, and support the continuous improvement of the risk function.
Your Tasks
- Monitor policy adherence, control performance, key risk indicators, data quality, actions, and supplier performance across the corporate lending lifecycle.
- Perform thematic oversight reviews, document findings, track remediation, and provide constructive challenge where required.
- Prepare oversight reports, dashboards, committee materials, and service reviews, highlighting recurring themes and emerging risks.
- Support new lending products and material changes by developing controls, reporting, data quality checks, workflows, and implementation tracking.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate governance, monitoring, reporting, and evidence collection in collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist providers.
Your Team
You will join the collaborative and growing Corporate Lending Risk team within Risk Management & Controlling at Lloyds Bank GmbH, providing oversight across the lending lifecycle.
Your Experience
- Relevant professional experience in risk management, controls, audit, compliance, governance, credit risk, data, transformation, or a related banking function.
- Experience supporting controls, action tracking, oversight reporting, committee materials, service reviews, or risk documentation.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting, workflow automation, or low-code tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Python, SQL, Databricks, Alteryx, or similar, together with an interest in the responsible use of AI.
- Interest in developing deeper knowledge of corporate lending and credit risk; experience in an ECB-supervised banking environment is an advantage.
- Ability to engage constructively with stakeholders across the first and second lines, Group, Finance, IT, Data, and senior management.
- Fluency in English is required; German and/or Dutch is an advantage.
