Role Description

The Writer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Selters.

The Writer will create, revise, and refine written content for print and digital publications, ensuring it is clear, engaging, and consistent with organizational guidelines.

Daily tasks include drafting articles, study materials, and informational texts; collaborating with editors and reviewers; and adapting content for different audiences and formats.

The role also involves fact-checking, source verification, and maintaining style and tone standards across all written materials.

The Writer will participate in planning meetings, provide input on content strategy, and meet established deadlines while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and storytelling abilities, with a focus on clarity, coherence, and audience-appropriate tone.
• Experience with editing, revising, and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to conduct careful research and fact‑checking, including verifying sources and references.
• Comfort collaborating with editors, designers, and other team members in a structured editorial workflow.
• Excellent command of written en_US, including grammar, syntax, and style.
• Organized work habits, reliable time management, and the ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects.
• Proficiency with common word‑processing and collaboration tools (e. g., office suites, shared document platforms).
• Prior experience in publishing, journalism, education, or related fields is beneficial.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Selters and participate in a mission‑driven, team‑oriented environment.
