The STAR7 LLC Academy team works with clients such ascompanies and relocation companies to provide language training for familiesmoving to new countries.
We are currentlyrecruiting aFreelance French Language Instructorto deliverinpersonlessons to an adult studentin Zurich, Switzerland. Thisassignment may also lead to additional opportunities in the future, supportingother students (virtual and/or in-person).
KeyResponsibilities - in this role you will:
Designand deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to the student’s level, goals,and learning style.
Focuson improving the student’s fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar in French.
Monitorprogress and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement.
Encourageactive participation and build the student’s confidence in speaking andunderstanding French.
Adaptteaching methods and pace based on the student’s evolving needs.
Maintainclear and professional communication with the student and project manager.
Requirements
Nativeor near-native proficiency in French.
Provenexperience in teaching French as a second language, preferably in a one-to-onesetting.
Strongknowledge of French grammar, pronunciation, and usage.
Abilityto create engaging and personalized lesson plans.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
Patience,flexibility, and a student-centered approach.
Adegree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
TEFL/TESOLcertification or equivalent is preferred.
