To strengthen our Hybrid Cloud Practice, we are looking for an engaged and motivated Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) to join us at one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your Tasks:

• Support the sales team during the presales phase
• Handle tenders related to Oracle and PostgreSQL environments
• Gather customer requirements and develop solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate)
• Present and explain our solution portfolio to management, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure, and Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
• Create technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware, software, and service cost estimations
• Assist in preparing bids and tenders
• Manage Proof of Concepts
• Develop architecture concepts
• Determine optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architectures for on-premise and cloud deployments
• Conduct workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams

Your Profile:

• Technical or business administration degree with a technical focus or comparable training
• Several years of presales experience
• Experience with tenders in the public sector
• Proven expertise with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architectures in both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle)
• Analytical skills and social competence
• Responsibility and reliability
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level)
• Independent and structured working style
• Willingness to continuously learn and explore new topics
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level)
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
