Network Engineer – Large MPLS Network / FortiGate / Fortinet
We are hiring for an experienced Network Engineer who has a solid background working with Fortinet/FortiGate products in a complex and expansive MPLS environment. It is imperative that the successful engineer has demonstrable experience of working with larger networks. Those who have worked primarily on smaller or local networks will not be suitable for this position.
The successful candidate will work onsite on a hybrid basis, with three days onsite and two days remote. You will be responsible for a mix of BAU support and project work. Example projects include:
- A complete European refresh of our customers‘ Wi-Fi (Meraki to 180 sites)
- Setting up local internet breakout solutions
- Replacing routers with FortiGate firewalls
This role will require candidates to have a European involvement, as the customer is transitioning to a more European-focused model. This position will focus on all things network-related, bringing much-needed additional hands-on technical capability to the function.
Candidates must have German language skills (both written and spoken) and will be required to be onsite at our customer’s site three days per week.
Location: Poing – Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Remote
Salary: Up to c€80,000 Euros DOE
