We are hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer Your role: As a SWE you will make the magic of a fleet of robots happen. You will work on the backend that lets robots stream telemetry, enables operators to dispatch missions, and gives customers a live dashboard. You know that a reliable backend needs monitoring and alerting, that APIs need backwards compatibility, and that automated deployments and staging environments are your secret weapon to solid uptime.
What you'll be doing:
Work on customer-facing applications such as a fleet dashboard, mission control, and quality reports
Develop internal tooling for engineers and operators: sessions reviews, telemetry dashboards, and the robot control from the cloud
Own the backend of the robot fleet from telemetry ingestion and command APIs to third-party integration with customer systems
Contribute to the cloud infrastructure by improving the alerting and observability, introducing a staging environment, and solidifying the deployment automation
What you should have:
5+ years in a professional SWE environment building production software
Experience in a typed language (Rust, C++, Go, ...)
API design experience such as gRPC or REST and understanding of versioning and authentication
Web development experience across frontend and backend (TypeScript, SvelteKit, ...)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL): Knowledge of schema design, backups, migrations, and access control
Linux fluency such as bash, containers, systemd, networking
Experience deploying and operating what you build: IaC, monitoring, debugging in production, uptime and SLAs
These skills are a plus:
Rust in production (Axum, tokio, sqlx, ...)
Familiarity with data pipelines and time-series DBs
Authentication and authorization systems such as OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS/PKI
Experience with fleets of connected devices (IoT, automotive, robotics, drones, edge computing)
Observability and monitoring infrastructure (Grafana, OTEL, VictoriaMetrics, vmalert)
You will be the first SWE dedicated to everything that happens off the robot. Your work will be central to the success of our customer deployments and engineering culture.
Don't worry if you don't hit every check-mark. We value people who learn fast and care about building great products. Just give it a go and apply.
