Overview
As Operational Risk Officer, you contribute to the Group Operational Risk Management function by strengthening risk reporting, controls, and governance. You collaborate across the three lines of defense to supervise incidents, issues and actions, and support RCSA reviews. You will maintain risk data, KRI metrics, and risk management tools while coordinating with stakeholders across the bank. This role offers exposure to a private banking environment and opportunities to shape risk management practices at scale. A strong analytical mindset and cross-functional collaboration are key to succeeding here.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Prepare and enhance risk management reports for governance committees and senior management
- Oversee operational risk incidents, issues and actions including tracking timeliness and quality of remediation
- Support review and challenge of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)
- Maintain Operational Risk Management data related to RCSAs, Issues and Actions, Incident Management and KRIs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and other control functions across the three lines of defense
- Contribute to operational risk projects and initiatives led by Group Risk Management or other business areas
- Support development, implementation and maintenance of Operational Risk Management policies, standards and procedures
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
- Operational risk or control experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail
- Experience preparing management information, dashboards and risk reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and French
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
