- Providing accurate and timely financial administration, including supporting budget monitoring, forecasting, invoices and payments.
- Maintaining finance, case management and data systems so that information is complete, reliable and accessible.
- Producing reports, data and management information to support oversight, planning and decision-making.
- Working with colleagues to improve processes, strengthen compliance and deliver an efficient business support service.
Knowledge and experience of financial processes and financial systems e.g. setting up customers and suppliers, creating purchase orders, invoicing, issuing credit notes. - Proven experience of maintaining databases and case management systems, including user management, data quality assurance, and system improvements
- Experience of analysing data and producing and presenting statistical and management reports.
- Experience of delivering high-quality customer service and operational or business support.
- Experience of working in a local authority or a similarly complex organisation would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
