Lonza has a strong track record in the manufacturing of BioConjugates from early clinical to large scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant facility (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) as well as other classes of BioConjugates. We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and as part of Lonza’s IBEX Dedicate model, new bioconjugation suites will be built out within the pre-existing shell.
In order to support our continued growth, Lonza is seeking Bioprocess Engineers with a relevant background in Life Sciences and a passion for Biotechnology to join our talent community in Visp. Key Responsibilities:
As Bioprocess Engineer working in the review, you will review operational activities for manufacturing execution with regard to safety and quality standards and on-time-in-full delivery for assigned manufacturing projects in downstream areas.
In downstream processing (DSP), you will support and review the manufacturing of therapeutic BioConjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) and others for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Chemistry and Pharmatechnologe (CPT) holder with additional working experience in relevant industry
- Knowledge in DSP units (such as chromatography, ultrafiltration, etc.)
- GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology
- Good communication skills in German (preferred) and/or English (optionally)
