To serve as an intern in the Basel legal team, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate. We are looking for an intern with interest in corporate matters, contracting, and AI technology tools. What you will get:

Supporting role in a global rollout of a Contract Life Cycle Management Tool. Drafting and harmonizing a full suite of contracts. Support with respect to all other legal aspects of work on M&A, transactions and strategic projects, as required. Act as a business legal partner with internal clients of the company. Perform other related duties as assigned by General Counsel, Corporate and Associate General Counsel, Corporate. Proactive member of the team, keen to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment. Team player, comfortable working with all levels of management. What we are looking for:
Team player with a can‑do mentality, proactive, self‑starter, challenges status quo, able to work seamlessly and with agility across businesses and functions. Loves working in a multicultural environment with people on different education levels. Seeking an opportunity to pursue aspirations, where a job title is a starting point, not the final definition. Legal studies – currently completing or completed. Keen interest in contract drafting in plain English. Interest in M&A and corporate or commercial projects. Experience or understanding of contract law (civil law and common law) and corporate matters. At ease in drafting legal documents and communicating in English (German, French, Spanish or other languages also helpful).
