In this role, you’ll shape digital manufacturing by leading MES projects, strengthening system standards, and ensuring GMP‑compliant, high‑impact system performance. /p pThis is a fully site‑based role. Our full list of tailored local benefits in Visp can be found on: Benefits - Visp /li /ul h3bWhat you’ll do: /b /h3 ulliExecute and lead MES DeltaV projects across all lifecycle phases, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. /liliMaintain, optimize, and further develop MES standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with site and global guidelines. /liliEnsure reliable operation, enhancement, and updating of MES DeltaV (formerly Syncade) systems, recognizing their direct impact on production processes and GMP‑compliant documentation. /liliCollaborate closely with Operations, QA, Automation, and IT/OT teams to ensure seamless system integration and high system availability. /liliAnalyze and improve MES‑related workflows, identifying opportunities for digitalization, efficiency gains, and data integrity improvements. /liliCoordinate and manage external partners and vendors involved in MES or OT‑related project and support activities. /liliEnsure GMP‑compliant execution of all MES and OT activities, including documentation, change control, and validation readiness. /li /ul h3bWhat we are looking for: /b /h3 ulliCompleted university degree in Computer Science, Industrial IT/OT, Automation Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor level or higher). /liliSignificant professional experience in IT/OT, MES DeltaV (formerly Syncade), or automation‑related engineering roles within a regulated environment. /liliSolid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working with validated production or automation systems. /liliResponsibility for the MES lifecycle, including system operation, enhancements, release management, and interface coordination. /liliStrong knowledge of OT networks, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), system architectures, and basic cybersecurity principles. /liliFluent German or English (minimum B2 level) for effective collaboration with local and global stakeholders. /liliStructured, independent working style with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. /liliWillingness to participate in on‑call duty (Pikettdienst) 2-3 times per year. /li /ul h3bAbout Lonza: /b /h3 pAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
