In this role you will develop global sourcing strategies for logistics, transportation, and warehousing, driving value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve service quality, resilience, and sustainability while managing global projects in a matrix organization. - Develop and implement global category strategies for logistics, transportation, and warehousing across regions
- Lead strategic sourcing projects, tenders, supplier negotiations, and contract management
- Build and manage a savings pipeline with forecasting and realization tracking
- Act as global procurement subject matter expert for logistics/warehousing with market intelligence
- Drive supplier selection, onboarding, performance management, and governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategies with business, sustainability, and risk goals
- Identify and implement continuous improvement, digitalization, and process harmonization initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor or Master in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
- Significant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management in logistics/warehousing
- Strong negotiation, tendering, contracting, and total cost of ownership analysis skills
- Solid understanding of logistics, freight, warehousing, Incoterms, SLAs, and supplier performance management
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex global projects in a matrix organization
- Strong analytical skills in spend analysis, business case development, savings delivery, forecasting, and risk management
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, iCertis, or similar procurement tools
