And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of. /p pWe are looking for a Global Head of MES Automation to join our team! /p h3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Head of Automation and MES will drive customer demand management, people management, project management, solution development, maintenance, enhancement and operational support for the ADS, SPM and INB operations networks. In collaboration with the Platform Operations, IT, local automation teams and GE Delivery leads, s/he will develop strategies and actionable plans that maximize the value from the use of our ITOT architecture to adopt electronic batch records across the sites. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible to develop, drive and audit the implementation of the global MES strategy throughout the Lonza network. /li liResponsible for the selection, design, deployment and roll-out of global standards for the operations network, including infrastructure, asset and incident management. /li liLead the effort to ensure operational functionality of the MES standard as well as compliance to cGMP in collaboration with Sites leadership teams, Global Quality Assurance and IT (security and infrastructure). /li liMentor and develop a team of highly skilled MES experts /li liEstablish and manage the Group Ops MES teams including enabling capabilities, standards, governance framework and portfolio management. /li liResponsible to ensure that workforce plans, vendor management, budget management, customer change management, staff performance management and other internal processes are conducted professionally and in the best interests of our customers, teams, and other stakeholders. /li liKeep abreast of technical developments that may have application in the Pharma manufacturing industry and promote the use of those that provide strategic business benefits. /li liEnsure team actively manages incidents, service requests, and change queues in compliance with Lonza processes. /li liDevelop and continuous improvement of technical global standard for electronic batch recording. /li liMaintain and execute the MES roadmap and global deployment of the Lonza Target Architecture standards across sites. /li liEstablish and manage a service to support manufacturing sites with the management of generic Master Batch Records and daily operations. /li liLiaison with Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT and Regulatory teams to ensure a compliant, lean and cross-functional approach to MES solutions. /li liCollaborate with all internal stakeholders including Senior Management, Functional Leaders, and Site Heads and platform operations to gain alignment for MES strategy and to identify appropriate trainers and subject matter experts. /li liEnsure organizational effectiveness, achievement of business objectives and regulatory compliance. /li /ul h3Key Stakeholders /h3 ul liPlatform Global Head Operations /li liCAPEX Directors /li liGlobal Head of Engineering Functions /li /ul h3Required Skills And Competencies /h3 ul liGxP systems implementation or software development life cycle as well as supporting project and validation methodologies (CSV). /li liProfessional experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and expertise in GxP and regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 /li liStrong coaching, mentoring, and influencing skills. Strong leadership and people management skills, inspiring and empowering leadership style. /li liDemonstrated experience effectively collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver superior business outcomes. /li liHighly customer-focused, with demonstrable stakeholder management experience and passionate about delivering high quality innovative solutions and services that meet business needs, which are readily scalable. /li liA proven track record of running high performing environments, including virtual teams. /li liInnovative, responsible, and reliable with a highly developed strategic mindset. /li liAble to contribute at a functional leadership level beyond own immediate area of responsibility with strong communication skills and ability to forge relationships with a wide range of colleagues across the globe. /li liExperience in managing change initiatives with the commitment to implement change within the organization. /li liFlexibility to travel for up to 20% (both domestic internationally). /li liAdaptable and flexible to change in a large organization. /li liDeep understanding of the actual landscape of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and technologies. /li liProven Program Management skills in a complex multinational organization. /li liTeamwork, collaboration, networking. /li liCreativity and innovation. /li liExcellent communication skills. /li liStrong planning and organisational abilities. /li liExperience providing guidance to executive teams, working with executives and managing multiple complex projects. /li liAnalytical and critical thinking skills.
