In the idyllic town of Visp we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to analyse our biopharmaceutical products using a variety of physico-chemical techniques (e.g. UV, pH, Karl Fischer) according to GMP guidelines. What you’ll do:
- As a member of our Quality Control team, you are responsible for carrying out analytical testing of batches and stability studies with a focus on physico-chemical techniques (e.g. UV, KF, pH)
- You work according to GMP, in addition to practical laboratory work, also carry out the necessary administrative activities, such as documenting or releasing results
- At the same time, you support laboratory maintenance (equipment responsibility) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy
- The varied responsibilities also include close partnership with other QC units, improvement projects and troubleshooting
What we’re looking for:
- Apprenticeship as chemical or biochemical laboratory technician, BSc, CTA or similar education
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Work experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus
- You are independent, diligent and responsible and have good communication and collaboration skills
- You are fluent in either English OR German (plus you are willing to improve the respective other language – we offer free language courses!)
