Overview In this role, you will manage material requirements and the end-to-end BOM lifecycle for customer projects, aligning with project needs and production plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely materials and accurate system updates. The position sits at the intersection of materials planning, procurement, and supply chain, supporting medicine manufacturing at high quality and compliance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a clear impact on project fulfilment and efficiency within Lonza’s life sciences focus. Leistungen / Benefits agile career and dynamic culture inclusive and ethical workplace competitive salary with tailored local benefits lifestyle, family and leisure benefits on-site role in Visp with remote work up to 20% local benefits package Verantwortungsbereiche Manage a portfolio of customer projects ensuring accurate material requirements in the system per project needs, lead times, and production plan Own creation, maintenance, review, and decommissioning of the project BOM and coordinate with project teams for fulfillment and system updates Identify and initiate requests for new material creation to support project needs Liaise with project teams to address material issues, explore alternative materials, and align on technical solutions Perform material availability checks and ensure correct batch allocation and accurate production material requests Validate supply scenarios from a material availability perspective Set up safety stock for non-common materials in collaboration with Program Management and charge materials at end of production campaigns via SMOG process Perform process order reviews for raw material consumption and adjust BOM to reflect accurate material requirements Participate in supply chain improvement initiatives leveraging material management expertise Zentrale Anforderungen Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, SCM, Procurement, or similar fields Confirmed experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, Project Management and/or Purchasing Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams Stakeholder management Excellent communication and presentation skills SAP MM Power BI MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
