Become part of this great opportunity and join our team by applying for the position as Bioprocess Engineer in Upstream Processing or Downstream Processing or BioConjugate Manufacturing. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on‑time and within given safety and quality standards /li liAct as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area /li liLead of one or more defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expressions systems (Bioprocess Engineer USP) /li liIn charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. gain, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from either mammalian or microbial cells (Bioprocess Engineer DSP) /li liResponsible for entire processes or process units for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic BioConjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) (Bioprocess Engineer BioConjugates) /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production /li liKnowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography) /li liWorking experience in biomanufacturing would be an advantage /li liGMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology /li liExcellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage /li /ul pEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
