Act as an adviser on substance master data management, chemical nomenclature, and registration processes. Plan, manage, and oversee projects from initiation to implementation, addressing issues and collaborating with customers and stakeholders. Mentor team members and train new staff on nomenclature processes and best practices around the global chemical knowledge management system. Evaluate and implement innovations in chemo-informatics, analyze complex data, and prepare reports and audit materials. Represents the team in cross-functional projects, while enhancing collaboration with internal customers and external suppliers. Provide technical expertise, consultancy, and programming solutions to enhance efficiency in R&D and knowledge management workflows. Establish and maintain interfaces with other systems (e.G., SAP, LIMS) to ensure seamless data transfer and support digitalization initiatives. What we’re looking for: Master’s or PhD in information sciences; chemistry or biochemistry specialization is a plus. 5+ years of professional experience in knowledge management, innovation, or digitalization, including management roles. Conceptual and analytical skills, with good knowledge of SQL, and proficiency in content management systems, MS Office, DMS, and SAP. Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, information security, and regulatory requirements. Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with a structured, reliable work style. Service- and team-oriented, flexible, and able to manage uncertainty and stress effectively. Proven ability to adopt new developments, proactively seek improvements, and manage systems independently while ensuring cost awareness and compliance.
