DLP Strategy Architect in Sachseln

A leading global IT consulting firm is supporting a major Consumer Goods & Retail client in a large-scale Data Loss Prevention transformation programme. We are looking for an experienced DLP Strategy Consultant / Solution Architect to define the client's target-state DLP capability and ensure consistency across multiple parallel workstreams. This is a strategic consulting role focused on architecture, governance, stakeholder management, and enterprise-wide design rather than day-to-day implementation.ResponsibilitiesDesign the target-state DLP architecture across endpoint, network, email, cloud and collaboration platformsDefine DLP policies, data classification strategy, detection logic and operating modelEnsure alignment across security engineering, infrastructure, data governance, legal/compliance and business teamsLead architecture workshops and facilitate technical and business design decisionsAdvise on Microsoft Purview, Zscaler and Symantec DLP architecture, coexistence and migration strategyProduce architecture documentation, decision records, reference designs and roadmapsAct as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, balancing security, compliance and business needsRequirements10+ years of experience in Data Loss Prevention, data protection or information security consultingProven experience designing enterprise-scale DLP solutions from strategy through architectureStrong hands-on knowledge of at least two of the following:Microsoft Purview (Information Protection / DLP)Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA / CASB)Symantec DLPStrong understanding of data classification, sensitivity labelling and content inspectionExperience designing DLP across endpoint, email, cloud, web and collaboration platformsExperience facilitating senior stakeholder workshops and driving architectural decisionsExcellent communication skills in EnglishNice to haveExperience in Retail, Consumer Goods or FMCGKnowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulationsCertifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CIPP/E, SC-400 or vendor certificationsExperience with Insider Risk ManagementExposure to Zero Trust and SASE programmesEnterprise data discovery and classification experienceFrench language skillsPrevious consulting experience in large international programmesProject environment Platforms:Microsoft PurviewZscaler (ZIA, ZPA, CASB)Symantec DLPWorking model:Remote-firstOccasional travel to client workshops in the Geneva regionInternational consulting environmentEnglish-speaking project #J-18808-Ljbffr
