The Senior Category Strategy Manager (w / f / d) works in close cooperation with other functional teams, such as Marketing, Commercial, Market & Consumer Insights.
- Identifying market opportunities and growth potential for LDB to win market share in upcoming years in our key categories (with a high focus on RX acceleration).
- Developing and implementing strategic priorities respecting the full patient and consumer journey with LDB teams by leading or supporting cross-functional project teams.
- Supporting the LDB leadership team in preparing key strategic meetings (GM visit, Zone, Multi-Div).
- Expanding and developing our market, category, consumer, and competitor insights:
- Key person for CMI for consolidation and development of consumer and category insights studies, managing the overall study needs.
- Analyzing, sharing, and transferring relevant insights into tactics and strategies in close cooperation with our LDB teams (brands, commercial, digital, education).
- Upskilling the LDB community on market and consumer insights and supporting critical brand and sales meetings with relevant consumer, category, and industry insights.
- Owning the market projection process in collaboration with the Corporate CMI Team and exchanging insights with counterparts within other divisions.
- Driving category growth and identifying profitable growth potentials with our Revenue Growth Manager.
- Regularly exchanging and representing our division’s perspective in cross-divisional and international contexts.
Your profile
Successfully completed university degree
At least X years of experience in sales, marketing, category management, or business development; ideally in cosmetics or pharmaceutical environments.
Good understanding of the cosmetics market.
Experience in the pharmacy environment is an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking skills and an affinity for numbers.
Ability to develop and implement fact-based strategies .
Skill to navigate easily between top-line strategy and operational data/insights.
Strong communication skills, team player, assertiveness, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment.
