Compliance Officer Regulatory & Governance
The Regulatory & Governance team is active on many various tasks. A day in this position can drive you through the following subjects:
Sanctions:
- Clarification of ex-ante payment sanctions screening messages filtering (Swift, SIC, SEPA, etc.);
- Review and accept transactions for accounts/clients monitored by Compliance from a sanction perspective;
- Participate in the periodic review, transactions monitoring on a sanction perspective;
- Assess the implementation of blocking and restrictive controls on client accounts, assets, and transactions as well as on securities and any further risk mitigation measure;
Support in the following other compliance regulatory and governance tasks:
- Participate in 2nd level of controls on Compliance activities;
- Participate in Compliance projects.
Your assets to succeed:
- Bachelor or Master, ideally completed with a Compliance diploma;
- Fluent French & English;
- Solid experience in Compliance, especially in Swiss Private Banking;
- Good knowledge of the Sanctions & Embargos (SECO, OFAC, EU, UN);
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss regulations: FINMA, LBA, ASB, and other local applicable regulations;
- Very good writing & communicative skills;
- Analytic, rigorous and synthetic;
- Communicative and collaborative;
- Flexible and autonomous.
