LSE Space GmbH is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer (f/m/d) with expertise in the Attitude and Orbit Control subsystem for the operations preparation of interplanetary missions.
Due to security requirements, candidates must hold EU citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required during the recruitment process. All potential employees will undergo thorough reference and identity checks due to the sensitive nature of the work.
What you\’ll do
- Participate in ground segment development and testing activities (e.g., MCS, MPS Simulator)
- Define and produce the Flight Operations Plan
- Prepare and validate Flight Control and Contingency Procedures
- Define OnBoard Software Maintenance Concept
- Plan and define mission phases
- Prepare routine operations
- Conduct training campaigns
- Support operations, including shift and on-call support
- Assist in anomaly investigation and resolution for space and ground segments
- Perform trend and performance analysis
- Identify and support system and process improvements
What we are looking for
- Master\’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Proven expertise in Attitude and Orbit Control subsystems, with experience in operation preparation tasks (FOP preparation and validation)
- Experience in development and validation of the Flight Operations Segment
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong team player
- Highly motivated and autonomous
