We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :-
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for understanding component requirements, designing test strategies, developing automated test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery
Component Test Engineer with strong experience in C++, Pybind, and Pytest to verify and validate software components.
Experience: 5+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand Component Requirement Specifications (CRS) and software design documents.
- Derive test scenarios and test cases from requirements and ensure complete requirement coverage.
- Develop and execute component-level, integration, and regression tests.
- Build and maintain Pytest-based automation frameworks.
- Validate C++ components and Pybind bindings exposed to Python.
- Perform defect analysis, debugging, root cause investigation, and verification of fixes.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and system integration teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and generate verification reports.
Required Skills
- Strong programming experience in C++ and Python.
- Experience in requirement-based testing and test case design.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in Linux/Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
