We Are Hiring – Junior Project Manager | Shipbuilding

Location: Papenburg, Germany

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager with a strong engineering background to join our team and support the execution of projects in the shipbuilding industry.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineering professional looking to develop a career in project management within a challenging and dynamic technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and execution of shipbuilding projects.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, production departments, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Support the management of technical documentation, project progress and reporting.
• Identify potential technical and operational issues and contribute to their resolution.
• Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in Germany
• Engineering background (Mechanical, Naval, Marine, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline).
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level )
• Good command of English.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary technical environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Papenburg, Germany.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in shipbuilding, shipyards or marine engineering.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Project Coordinator in the naval or industrial sector.
• Familiarity with project planning, technical coordination and project management tools.
• Previous project management experience in the shipbuilding industry will be considered a plus, but is not mandatory.
