The Role
Join our dynamic team as an IT Purchasing and Contracts Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in managing IT procurement, overseeing supplier contracts, and ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements. Your efforts will ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, driving efficiency and contract adherence.
What you’ll do
- IT Purchasing Management: Efficiently manage IT procurement of hardware, software, and services within budget constraints. Collaborate with IT stakeholders and finance to gather and evaluate offers, initiate purchasing requests, and confirm deliveries. Streamline purchasing processes and maintain records of all IT purchases and documentation.
- Contract Oversight: Oversee and manage IT supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with terms. Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and ensure all necessary signatures are secured. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Cost Monitoring: Implement vigilant tracking of IT expenditures to ensure financial accuracy. Verify IT invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper coding of software costs. Secure credit notes from suppliers as necessary.
- Software License Management: Manage software licenses to ensure compliance and optimal utilization. Track licenses against agreements and collaborate on software needs forecasting and budgeting. Conduct periodic audits to reconcile licenses and actual usage.
What you bring to the table
- Demonstrated experience in IT purchasing and contract management
- Preferable exposure to software asset management
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and negotiation expertise
- Certifications like ITIL or CPIM are advantageous
