You’ll have the opportunity to: Launch and build the German business from day one.
Open and establish the Frankfurt office.
Develop strategic partnerships with leading domestic and international asset managers.
Build trusted relationships across Germany’s buy‑side ecosystem.
Recruit and lead the future German team, supported from the outset by an experienced Sales Director.
Influence the firm’s wider European growth strategy.
Initially, this is a player‑coach position.
You’ll personally drive commercial growth, establish strategic partnerships and position the business as a trusted partner to the German investment community.
As the business grows, you’ll recruit, mentor and lead the local team while helping shape the long‑term strategy for Germany.
Qualifications A well‑established and trusted network across Germany’s investment management ecosystem, including fund selectors, CIOs, investment teams, private banks, wealth managers and other senior investment decision‑makers.
Proven Asset Management Business Development Track Record.
Significant business development experience within the asset management industry, with a demonstrable track record of building strategic partnerships, generating sustainable revenue growth and developing long‑term client relationships.
Entrepreneurial Player‑Coach Mindset.
A hands‑on leader who enjoys building businesses rather than inheriting them.
Comfortable leading from the front while laying the foundations for a scalable, high‑performing organisation.
Strategic Commercial Acumen.
The ability to identify market opportunities, translate strategy into execution and build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders.
Commercially driven, relationship‑focused and passionate about creating long‑term value.
Fluent German and English.
