Tasks Your main tasks include, among others: Support procurement projects related to component repair services, alternate sourcing initiatives & supplier evaluations Conduct market research & analysis on suppliers, industry trends, pricing developments & sourcing opportunities Assist in the preparation, coordination, & evaluation of RFQs Analyze procurement data & develop reports and presentations for management decision-making Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities & process improvement initiatives Support contract management activities & procurement compliance requirements Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain & Procurement teams Assist in preparing negotiation support materials, supplier comparison analyses & business cases * All other duties as assigned or required Behind the scenes Our Purpose The Lufthansa Group connects people, cultures, and economies in a sustainable way. Requirements The ideal Procurement Intern should fulfill the following requirements: Current enrollment/ recently graduate in a Bachelor's or Master's program with an emphasis on Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Aviation Management or a related field Strong interest in strategic procurement, sourcing, supplier management and aviation MRO services Good knowledge of MS Office Ability to analyze large data sets and present findings in a structured manner High level of self-management, initiative, and willingness to learn Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Fluent in English language German or Spanish language is a plus Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. * CV/Resume required * Company will not provide relocation assistance Company About Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.
