Are you skilled at creating structure in chaos and discovering patterns where others see noise? Join our Cyber Defense Center as a Cyber Threat Hunter and Incident Handler. We seek heroes of the digital world—cape optional, solution orientation welcome.

Tasks

As a member of the Cyber Defense Center, you will:

• Detect threats, respond to security incidents, and develop preventive measures.
• Cyber Threat Hunting: Identify anomalies in data, recognize early-stage cyber threats using models like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Cyber threat intelligence: Enhance alerting mechanisms, recognize attack vectors, analyze threat actors, malware, and motives.
• Security incident handling: Maintain an overview of incidents and coordinate responses.
• Bonus: Data analysis, PowerPoint, Python, or XQL skills are a plus.

Requirements

You should have a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly. A good sense of humor and team spirit are essential.

• Degree in (business) informatics or a related field with a focus on data.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, ISMS.
• Experience in handling security incidents, network security, SOC, SIEM, EDR, or malware analysis.
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, GCIH, CISSP) are desirable.
• Enthusiasm for cybersecurity activities like blue/red teaming, capture-the-flag.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Openness to a diverse, fast-paced environment with ongoing training.
