We are currently looking for a charismatic Area Sales Manager to support our Sales Team.

You will support customers in South Germany and ensure their needs are fulfilled.

What you will do:

  • Management of the assigned accounts at all levels (purchasing / logistics /
  • technology / after-sales).
  • Ensure KA market intelligence on technology and competition
  • Creation and continuous maintenance of a „Customer Landscape Model“ with
  • all responsible people.
  • Ensure identification, focus and priority setting on the projects pipeline.
  • Manage existing, future agreements and pricing.
  • Securing orders according to budget/plan/opportunities
  • Support customers with relevant information for each opportunity
  • Create offers towards customers
  • Visit customers and build relationships with the key stakeholders
  • Evaluation of specifications

What we are looking for:

  • Successfully completed technical or business/economics studies, or an
  • equivalent qualification
  • Experience in account management and in project- or engineering-driven
  • business environments
  • Background in marketing and business development
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and within
  • international business structures
  • Strong escalation management capabilities
  • Knowledge of the transport and/or public sector
  • Understanding of the company’s products and portfolio
  • High level of expertise in how telematics, networking, and other relevant
  • technical solutions are used—or can be used—in public transportation
  • Solid understanding of how large public transport systems operate
  • Knowledge of relevant operational processes
  • Awareness of market dynamics
  • Familiarity with typical customer requirements
