As a Software QA Engineer, you\’ll work in Agile/Scrum teams to create and execute test plans, perform system integration testing, and conduct manual and automated tests. Responsibilities include setting up test environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving quality issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute test plans and cases (manual and automated).
- Perform system integration, exploratory, and regression testing.
- Automate tests using tools like Cypress and Robot Framework.
- Set up and manage test environments for real-world conditions.
- Document and report defects with detailed debugging information.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure quality across development.
- Validate milestones and features against release versions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in QA/System Testing roles.
- Expertise in system integration testing, Linux, and test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Robot Framework).
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with MQTT.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ISTQB certification (preferred).
- Strong analytical and communication skills both in English and German.
