Your responsibilities
Your daily tasks
- Developing and executing financial and investment strategies to support the organization’s growth and operational objectives
- Managing and monitoring financial planning, annual and semi-annual budgets (and investment plans)
- Leading the design and implementation of debt restructuring strategies to optimize financial health and strengthen the organization’s fiscal position
- Overseeing financing plans for major infrastructure development projects
- Maintaining cash flow monitoring practices to safeguard liquidity and financial stability
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and government ministries, ensuring compliance with EU regulations and financial transparency
- Guiding and developing the finance team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment
- Ensuring adherence to local and EU regulatory frameworks while managing relationships with external auditors and financial oversight bodies
Your other missions
- Participating in the integration of new employees
- Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior
The required profile
Studies / training
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in an industrial environment, logistics sectors, or investment banking
Skills and knowledge required
IT Tools
Mandatory: Microsoft Office suite
Languages
Mandatory:
- French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
- English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
Nice-to-have:
- German / Luxembourgish: the knowledge of those languages would be an asset
Know-how and interpersonal skills specific to the job
- You have strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder engagements
- You have a proven track record in debt restructuring, project financing, and managing large-scale capital expenditure programs
- You are familiar with Luxembourg’s governmental financial frameworks and regulations
- You hold an expertise in SAP or equivalent financial systems
- You are known for your collaborative, humble, and team-oriented approach
