Legal Counsel (m / f / x)

For our department General Services within General Services , we are looking for a (an) :

Legal Counsel (m / f / x)

• Draft / review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on transportation agreements, IT agreements, services agreements, maintenance agreements and marketing agreements
• Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of legal topics (e.g. transport law, commercial law, consumer law, IT / IP law, Insurance law, labour law, data protection law)
• Participate in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures (including training)
• Manage disputes and claims with third parties
• Monitor and draft template agreements and group policies
• Develop and provide legal and compliance training to the business
• Assist, coordinate and give advice in various projects
• Administration and contract management
• Coordinate relationships with law firms

Required profile :

Minimum required criteria :

• Master\’s degree in law with specialization in business law, transport or tourism.
• Minimum 5 years of experience gained as a lawyer or as an in-house legal counsel
• Experience in transport / tourism and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. (German is an asset)
• Business minded and problem solver
• Able to communicate at any level of the company and to explain complex legal issues in a comprehensible language
• Flexible, stress resistant and have a positive attitude
• Team player and have the capacity to work autonomously
• Well organized and result-oriented

Desired or to be acquired criteria :

• Specialization in transport / compliance

The ideal candidate :

• Have knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language
