Network Administrator (m/f/x)

For our department Network Administration within General Services, we are looking for a (an): Network Administrator (m/f/x) Main duties: Design, install, configure and maintain the network equipment as well as the network security infrastructure.Ensure the availability, integrity, security and good performance of the network infrastructurePerform incidents resolution and follow-up, problems identification and analysisPerform day-to-day network infrastructure operationsParticipate in continuous improvement of the overall production environment and write appropriate guidelines where requiredKeep a high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibilityParticipate to IT S&S related projectsOccasionally provide an administrative support in the scope of the activity Required profile: Minimum required criteria:Be holder of a bachelor degree “BAC& 3” in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar positionDemonstrate knowledge in TCP/IP, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Wireless networks (Wifi)Demonstrate knowledge in Firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) administrationBe familiar with Web Application FirewallDemonstrate skills in Business Continuity PlanningShow strong communication and adaptation skillsAccept to be part of the IT S&S On-Duty TeamAccept Duty TravelBe familiar with standard office applicationsShow good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written) Desired or to be acquired criteria:Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skillsShow skills in installations and maintenance of DMZ environmentsBe accurate, detail oriented and reliableBe able to work team-oriented and independentlyMust be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologiesShow a strong ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the companyShow user skills in the tools used in the departmentDemonstrate a good sense of urgency and flexibilityMaintain the strict confidentiality of the data The ideal candidate:Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
