Kotlin Lead Developer (m / w / d) - with experience in Android -IMMEDIATE JOINERS

This is a good opportunity to participate in the new in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) project for one of the biggest European car makers. This is a very fast-growing project that requires talented software developers and test engineers who like challenges and new cutting-edge technologies. Applicants will have the possibility to gain experience in development or integrating/testing different functionalities. The candidate will be part of an international team and have the opportunity to work with the latest software technologies like Android Automotive OS.

Responsibilities :

• Develop Navigation Controller based on an advanced navigation platform to create innovative in-car experiences, including maps, live traffic, POI search, routing, and more.
• Assist in defining architectural directions and decisions.
• Develop components/classes according to the architecture approved by the Architecture Board.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Testing, Architecture, and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Participate in peer reviews, estimation, and other engineering activities.
• Mentor and support other engineers within or outside your areas of expertise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of organizational products and processes.

Mandatory Skills :

• 9+ years of engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of confirmed experience with Kotlin.
• Experience in Android development.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Experience in automotive industry.
• Knowledge of HMI systems.
• Navigation experience with Android.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of ASPICE standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high motivation.
• Over 1 year of experience in the navigation domain.
