Project description
The aim of this project is to support the Tier-1 in development and maintenance of XIL User Suite and Hil sensor injection. Injection engineering should be supported for:• Radar• Global navigation & satellite system• Ultrasonic• Driver Monitoring System• Camera. The XIL framework is to support the testing of System Under Test (SUT). It integrates a range of components and tools to establish and operate a comprehensive simulation and testing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain source code for sensor injection toolchains (Radar, GNSS, Ultrasonic, DMS, Camera, etc.)
- Implement middleware components, adaptors, and simulation interfaces (e.g., DDS, FEP3, ROS2)
- Create and maintain GUI tools and core libraries (Python, C++, C#)
- Integrate 3rd party deliverables and proprietary modules into XiL environments
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of software components
- Support CI/CD pipeline development and automated delivery processes
- Collaborate with System Engineers, Product Owners, and testers to meet functional and quality requirements
- Document software architecture, usage, limitations, and known issues
Skills
Must have
- Proficiency in software development using Python, C++, C#
- Experience with simulation tools and environments (e.g., VTD, Aurelion, ASM)
- Familiarity with middleware frameworks (DDS, FEP3, ROS2, ADTF3)
- Understanding of ADAS systems and sensor data processing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Ability to work in agile teams and deliver incrementally
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Ability to work across multiple work packages with tailored responsibilities
- German proficiency
- ISTQB® (tester), IREB® (requirements), IPMA® (project management) certifications beneficial
