Senior Python developer with Flowable (f/m/d) - with hands-on experience in Python, Flowable (or Activiti / Camunda)

pYou will join a globally distributed team in the Wealth Management area of a leading global bank, working in the AI Factory stream. The stream turns AI use cases into production-grade solutions that automate and improve business processes across the organisation. The team combines workflow orchestration on the Flowable platform with Python-based AI and data services. This lets processes such as client servicing, document handling, approvals and operational workflows be partly or fully automated, with human-in-the-loop control where needed. Everything runs in a highly regulated environment, so reliability, auditability, security and compliance are key. We are looking for a senior Python Flowable Engineer who wants to bring AI capabilities into real business processes and help shape the technical direction of the stream. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and build process automation solutions that combine Flowable workflows with Python-based AI and data services /li liModel processes, cases and decisions using BPMN 2.0, CMMN and DMN, including human-in-the-loop review steps /li liDevelop Python services and APIs (e.g. FastAPI/Flask) that Flowable processes call, including integration with AI/ML and LLM services /li liIntegrate workflows with internal and external systems through REST APIs and messaging /li liTurn business use cases into technical designs together with business analysts, data scientists and stakeholders /li liMake sure AI-enabled processes are traceable, auditable and compliant with the bank's security and risk requirements /li liWrite unit and integration tests, take part in code reviews and promote engineering best practices /li liSupport deployment and operation of solutions across environments (DEV/UAT/PROD) using CI/CD /li liTroubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution /li liAct as a technical expert in the team, guide less experienced engineers and contribute to solution architecture decisions /li /ul h3Skills /h3 h3Must have /h3 ul li10+ years of software development experience, with strong recent hands-on Python experience /li li3+ years of hands-on experience with Flowable (or Activiti / Camunda) /li liStrong knowledge of BPMN 2.0; practical experience with CMMN and DMN /li liProven experience designing and building REST APIs and service integrations (FastAPI, Flask or similar) /li liExperience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into business applications /li liGood knowledge of SQL and relational databases /li liExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar) and Docker /li liWorking knowledge of Java / Spring Boot, enough to extend and integrate with the Flowable platform /li liTrack record of working in a globally distributed Agile team in a senior or lead capacity /li liGood spoken and written English /li /ul h3Nice to have skills /h3 ul liExperience with LLM frameworks and patterns (e.g. LangChain, RAG, prompt engineering) /li liExperience with Flowable Work / Flowable Design, including Flowable AI features /li liContainerisation and deployment on Kubernetes /li liCloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure (including Azure OpenAI) /li liMessaging and event-driven integration (Kafka, JMS/MQ) /li liExperience in banking or wealth management, ideally with process automation or AI use cases /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
