We seek an experienced InfoSec Mid-Level Specialist to enhance our security posture and ensure our systems and data’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, familiarity with cloud environments like GCP, and experience securing modern data processing technologies such as Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Envoy, and Kafka.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust security measures and protocols to protect company assets, including networks, systems, and data stored within GCP environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development and deployment processes for Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Envoy, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Monitor and analyze security events, investigate incidents, and respond to security breaches promptly.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure architecture and guide security-related decisions for new projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in information security roles, preferably in a cloud-based environment using GCP.
- Proficiency in securing Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Envoy, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and standards (e.g., encryption, authentication, access control).
- Experience with security tools and technologies for monitoring, intrusion detection, and incident response.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, GCP Security Engineer) are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
