Overview
As AV Program Engineer 3, you will design, implement, and oversee AV control systems within the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You’ll shape high‑level architectures for large, resilient environments and lead cross‑functional project work across multiple programs. You’ll deploy Crestron-based control solutions, tune audio systems, and integrate with conferencing and AV‑over‑IP platforms. This role offers scope to influence secure, scalable AV deployments for federal, local, and commercial customers. You’ll work closely with engineering leadership to drive delivery and maintain strong, client‑facing communication.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, develop and deploy software for Audio/Visual Control Systems (Touch Panels) following DEVOPS processes
- Create configuration frameworks and documentation for large resilient AV systems
- Commission AV systems including configuring equipment, calibrating audio, and coordinating with customer equipment (Cisco Video Teleconferencing, Microsoft Teams, VDI)
- Calibrate video walls, configure AV network switches, and troubleshoot network issues
- Perform peer reviews of team designs and control programs
- Develop post-installation operation and maintenance documentation
- Deliver on-site user and administrative training for AV systems
- Set goals, organize work and communicate progress to project managers and clients
- Track source code development status for project teams and clients
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Engineering with 5+ years or Master in Engineering with 3+ years of progressive experience
- Proven Crestron control system programming for conference rooms and operations centers
- Experience calibrating audio solutions (mics, speakers, DSPs) for AV environments
- Experience deploying Video Teleconferencing solutions (Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx) and AV-Over-IP (Crestron DM‑NVX, DANTE)
- Experience integrating with third‑party control modules using SSH, RESTFul, RS232
- Software development in C# .NET (preferably .NET 4.7.2) for multi‑core platforms
- Crestron, Biamp and/or QSC certifications; Extron, Vanguard LED, Daktronics certifications desirable
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills; able to communicate with executive leadership
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams; good time management
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
- Must have active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
