Deputy Project Leader - Wiesbaden, Germany in Mainz

Overview

In this role you support the Energy M&S project in Wiesbaden, ensuring maintenance and engineering work complies with standards and design instructions. You bridge technical execution with administration to keep preventive and corrective maintenance on track. You’ll engage with subcontractors, manage logistics and finances, and help drive on-time project completion. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position that shapes how critical facilities stay resilient and secure. You’ll work closely with a multilingual team to deliver reliable, safe, and compliant outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Assist the Project Leader with daily operations of the Wiesbaden maintenance project (logistics, procurement, subcontracts, financials, personnel management, access, and CMMS data)
• Identify corrective maintenance orders and change orders; ensure timely resolution
• Price, track and manage service orders and change orders
• Plan and monitor cash flow against expenses
• Maintain as-builts and document project issues/conditions
• Plan and execute project completion and punch lists
• Develop goals and plans to organize work
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specs
• Research and prepare submittals; finalize estimates for partially designed projects
• Consult with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues
• Communicate with external parties and represent the company externally
• Track timely RFIs and document verbal agreements
• Understand timelines for decision making and documentation

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field with five years of government or commercial project experience
• Facilities operation and maintenance experience with five years in electrical or mechanical contracting or government organizations
• Experience on O&M projects ranging $500k–$10M per year
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, addenda, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; problem ownership and problem-solving
• Proven ability to plan and organize activities
• Proficiency with MS Office, Blue Beam, and PDF
• Valid driving record and willingness to travel 20%
• Willingness to work on MC Dean projects anywhere in the operating area; able to relocate to Germany and obtain work authorization
