Overview
In this role you will lead a large, secure facilities maintenance program for U.S. Army Wiesbaden and European sites, directing 25+ staff and overseeing thousands of maintenance activities on critical assets. You will ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency while coordinating with Army stakeholders and site managers. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity of PM/CM work
- Plan and direct maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems
- Supervise Technical Leads and Technicians; support career progression
- Manage small- to medium-sized teams (10–20 personnel + subcontractors)
- Coordinate with senior management, customers, contractors, and engineers to resolve issues
- Develop schedules and sequencing to meet deadlines and budget
- Determine manpower requirements and dispatch accordingly
- Interpret plans, terms, and SOW for staff and clients
- Manage client relationships and support contract modifications
- Monitor budgets for cash flow and profitability
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Interface with engineering teams to improve installation efficiency
- Coordinate field personnel with engineering to resolve installation challenges
- Review blueprints and SOWs
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Track progress against schedule and budget
- Oversee project documentation and customer status reporting
Zentrale Anforderungen
- BS in a related engineering/management field with 7+ years of experience or Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- High School Diploma with 13+ years in facility management and 10+ years in leadership
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and service of secure facilities including workforce administration and coordination
- Experience in CPM scheduling and project cost control
- Familiarity with UMCS, DDC, HVAC, SCADA, fire/life safety, MNS, CCTV, electrical and security systems
- Experience with scheduling, cost reporting, safety and quality control management systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics; knowledge of federal/state/local codes
- Willingness to travel to PM/CM locations; German language ability preferred
- Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance (US citizenship)
- Experience with Accubid estimating and Primavera P6 preferred
- Proficiency with MS Project and CMMS; strong MS Office skills
